May-17-08  bravado1: Only 6 draws in 50 games so far. It shows that if you play it out even at grandmaster level most of the games can be won.
May-17-08  Prugno: <bravado> This is mostly because in the first few rounds of big Swiss events there are large differences in strength between the players, so most games are mismatches. Repeat the statistics using games from the last rounds and you'll get results much closer to the average draw percentage :-)
May-17-08  percyblakeney: Some sixth round results:

Sokolov-Korchnoi 0-1
Guliev-van Wely 1-0
Milov-Najer 0-1
Abbasov-Naiditsch 1-0

May-17-08  Elxiddicus: Najer's got 6/6 so far. He's up next white against tenth seed guseinov.
May-18-08  myra: May someone help me where to watch direct game, thx in advance
May-19-08  jon01: Najer - Jobava meet in the last round.
