Anand and Ivanchuk were BARRED from playing there, because of the contract with Fide !!!!! And Kasparov was not part of the cycle...so he was excluded too. |

That is not a crime.> i would like to add to <acirce>'s point that the kramnik-leko match was originally scheduled for 2003. it only took place in 2004 because of funding issues. |

If you go to the Amber website, there's no mention at all of this Kriegspiel event. And as <Sandyobrien> mentioned, the fonts on those computer screenshots look awful. |
