 | | virginmind: <MichAdams> racists/chauvinists are generaly known to respond ad hominem, as they lack the usual insight for a normal discussion. also they completely lack sense of humour. as about the bible argument, i didnt say it was a "legal" one, as we are not in court here; it was just a common sense one (apparently not suited for people who for some reason are in a state of war against everybody around) but feel free to sue all the players who appear as non-european for participating in iecc (and fide too) - as you seem so obsessed about this. |

| May-04-08 | | cannibal: Oh, look what happened.
"Sometimes, <chessgames.com>, like love or music, has the power to make people happy." (Would have been even better though, if the post where he brags about being such a popular kibitzer would have been left here just for fun...) |
| May-04-08 | | cannibal: Btw, I'm gonna try (in vain, most likely) to turn this back into a chess page by noticing, hey, Gustafsson qualified for the World Cup once again. Congratulations! Very good result also for Marie Sebag (6.5/11). She lost against Galkin in the last round, when another win would have brought her in the race for World Cup tie-breakers, and most likely also a GM norm. |

| May-04-08 | | slomarko: <MichAdams> now i remember you, you are the guy who produced this piece of garbage on another page:
<MichAdams: I was about to use the expression 'cheating Arab' when I remembered that ethnic Iranians are not Arabs. See:
http://www.slate.com/id/1008394/
Even so, Iran can be considered a typically Middle Eastern low-trust society where to cheat kafirs wouldn't be particularly frowned upon> |
| May-04-08 | | Alphastar: <MichAdams: I was only responding in kind to the idiotic notion that Sutovsky be allowed to compete in the European Championship, because of the Bible. Better come up with a better legal defence than that.> Saying something is an idiotic notion and then dismissing it is not a valid argumentation. Better come up with something better than that. |
| May-04-08 | | MichAdams: <<MichAdams> racists/chauvinists are generaly known to respond ad hominem, as they lack the usual insight for a normal discussion. also they completely lack sense of humour.> I mentioned it before, but you conveniently ignored it, so let's try again. Do you have a problem with a nation that officially discriminates between Jews and non-Jews? |
| May-04-08 | | MichAdams: <<MichAdams> now i remember you, you are the guy who produced this piece of garbage on another page...> Truth is, you never forgot me. So you'll, no doubt, also recall that my evidence that Iran is a low-trust high-corruption society went completely unchallenged by you. |
| May-04-08 | | hitman84: <MichAdams>Have you watched the movie Patch Adams? Please do watch it. |
| May-04-08 | | slomarko: <Truth is, you never forgot me.> actually the only thing i remember about you is that you connected a case of cheating by an Iranian guy with corruptions in some countries and crap like that. |

| May-05-08 | | hovik2003: By the way Armenians are chosen people not the Jews or anybody else! This is not from Bible so you have a excuse to delete my bitter but enlightening posts, ask any DNA specialist who worked with different racial groups and he will reveal you the hidden truth. |

 | | notyetagm: <Strongest Force: ALL people are from the SAME source and that makes EVERYONE the chosen people.> All religion is just complete @#$%ing nonsense. All it does is divide people, into the "chosen" and the "non-chosen". |
| May-05-08 | | capatal: Perhaps organized religion in every country, comes from our subconscious desire for life everlasting. Mixed in for some, with large portions of guilt. "A spirit is manifest in the laws of the universe."-

| May-05-08 | | MichAdams: Alternative solutions to the Israel-Palestinian conflict suggested by fellow <cg.com> members = 0. But that's hardly unexpected when the two sides and the international community have been negotiating on and off for over 30 years with little more to show for it. Face it, my plan is the only viable option. |
| May-05-08 | | Alphastar: Congratulations, MichAdams. When will you present your oh so viable option to the world? |
| May-05-08 | | cannibal: <MichAdams: Alternative solutions to the Israel-Palestinian conflict suggested by fellow <cg.com> members = 0.> I guess it's time to be a little clear here:
I can't speak for other members, but for me the reason why I'm not even starting to present counter-arguments against your rants is that - "in my very honest and possibly wrong opinion" - they are so obviously baseless, historically ridiculous and naive, that no sober person could ever take them serious, full stop. Now if you say to me, prove it, well I won't. That's cheap, I know. You can interpret that in any way you want. Feel free to call yourself the winner of the discussion, no problem. But PLEASE, oh please, do it for yourself. Cause it should have occurred to you by now that people here aren't exactly taking all this repetitive noise very serious. (And really, I never really assumed that you're actually racist, anti-semite or whatever. But it feels a little odd by now, that this, although completely off-topic, is so important to you) |

 | | keypusher: <MichAdams: I'm referring to the supposition that Israel is not a nation within the bounds of the geographical region known as Europe. Which would consequently invalidate his right to participate in said event.> "Europe" is a fluid concept, apparently. The North Atlantic Treaty Organization finds itself on the Asian steppes. Besides, Israel's enemies are fond of referring to the Zionist Entity as an imperialist outpost of the Western hegemon, which would seem to entitle it to membership in Europe. Like Outremer of Crusader days. As for solving the problems of the Middle East, well, wishing them out of existence is one way to do it. But some might consider that cheating. |
| May-05-08 | | hovik2003: Wow, what a feed back, I was just kidding with cg.com who deleted my post. I always said this and nobody could argue with me I bet, that first step in ladder love to the mankind is love of yourself(whoever says he doesn't like himself is either lying or he is menthally sick), then comes the strong love to your family, inbetween step here is love of friends and neighborhood you like to live in, then is love of nation and the race that you belong to, if you fell you lack one of these tense feelings in your heart, Then you will never love people and human kind in general!! |
| May-05-08 | | hovik2003: By the way leave these little countries like Armenia, Israel, Georgia and many more alone! and let them be!! some nations like Indians and Chinese already passed the billion mark, Russians(Slavs) and Anglo-Saxsons are about midway to that mark! So what the hell is problem with human race and world geopolitics that you can't tolerate nations with overall population of the most 5 or 10 millions!! |
| May-05-08 | | MichAdams: <Besides, Israel's enemies are fond of referring to the Zionist Entity as an imperialist outpost of the Western hegemon, which would seem to entitle it to membership in Europe.> Well, Israel can indeed be considered as Europe's last colonial experiment. In which case, one must concede that it's been a failure and that it's long term future is unviable. Time to concentrate on internal security threats. |
| May-05-08 | | slomarko: <MichAdams> interestingly you don't suggest Gibraltarians of british origin to return where they came from. |
