My impression was that he was one of the most intelligent persons i've ever spoken to. Feb-01-07    BadTemper: Very many upsets in this tournament. Quite a few 2200's beating 2400. Great games too. Check em all out people. Feb-01-07    BishopofBlunder: Although I live just north of Dallas (Richardson, where the tournament was held, is a suburb of Dallas), I did not have the opportunity to attend the games in person. But I did watch them live online. I was impressed by Ramirez's play. He moves quickly, always seeming to be ahead on time, and his moves are very sharp. His play reminds me a bit of Anand.
