 | | chessgames.com: We now have some games from the Gibralter Masters Tournament (now referred to as the Gibtele.com Masters International). There was a five way tie for first place among Levon Aronian, Zahar Efimenko, Kiril D Georgiev, Emil Sutovsky and local favorite Alexey Shirov, all with 7.5/10. Also, congratulations to Daniel Gormally for making his third and final GM norm. Official homepage of the tournament is www.gibraltarchesscongress.com |

| Feb-08-05 | | shr0pshire: Nakamura finished 7.0 a half point behind the leaders. A strong showing by him, and I look forward to other international appearances by the reigning US champ. |
 |
| Feb-08-05 | | Prashanth: <shr0pshire> any idea what's(and when?) the next tournament Nakamura is going to play? |
 |
| Feb-08-05 | | roni.chessman: Hey <shropshire> Do you have a FICS account? Might be cool if we can play some standard and blitz games...and yes, you don't know me... |

| Feb-09-05 | | shr0pshire: I don't have an FICS account, but I can register, and I love to play blitz. I am not sure about his next tournament, but I am glad that me made another strong showing after he won the US title. I think that Nakamura is strong, and on the rise. |

 | | chessgames.com: <between/among> I believe that "among" is correct and "between' would be distinctly incorrect, as there are more than two elements to the list. |
 |
| Feb-12-05 | | me to play: cg.com is correct, I checked some grammar sources on the net. See the following information. Among and between are both prepositions that take plural objects According to the Harbrace College Handbook. Among and between are used in the following complimentary distribution: “use among with objects denoting three or more (a group), and use between with those denoting only two (or twos)”. The Concise English Handbook confirms this “simple” rule: “among refers to a relationship involving three or more, whereas between refers to a relationship of two”. |

| Feb-28-05 | | Pawsome: Right, I was incorrect. Thanks for correcting my incorrect correction. |
