chessgames.com: Congratulations to Zoltan Almasi, the 2006 Hungarian Chess Champion.

Official site: http://web.t-online.hu/passant/sakk...

Mar-11-06  Scarecrow: This is the 6th time Almasi wins the Hungarian Championship. His win is not a surprise, he did very well in Corus B recently.

Portisch was invited in view of his great results in the past, for me it hurts to see him at the bottom of the table.

<chessgames.com> Thank you for posting the games! However, I can point out a mistake: the Szabo (this is a very common Hungarian surname) playing here is of course not Laszlo Szabo (who died in 1998), but Krisztian Szabo, who earned his place in this tourney by winning the under-20 championship! He was born June 21, 1989. His rating is 2447, he has the title of International Master.

The PGNs themselves show "Kr1 Szabo", so I think you should correct only the crosstable and the "header" of each game.

Aug-18-09  kurtrichards: Interesting are the games of Sax. They all end up in draws.
