 | | alexandrovm: Many super GM's started bad this tournament, like Grischuk and Radjabov... |
 |
Apr-30-06
 | | alexandrovm: sorry, Grischuk and Ponomariov, Radjabov is doing fine here... |

 | | Appaz: <<notyetagm> Who else has done well besides Mamedyarov and Morozevich?> Add "&crosstable=1" to the address of this page and you should get the individual score in percent. |

 | | nfazli: <appaz>nice ..thank you |
 |
| May-01-06 | | Mameluk: Najer´s +5 is according to me the best performance of the tournament. 1st board was very tight, but all top teners should gain a few rating points - besides Ponomariov perhaps?! |
 |
| May-01-06 | | LancelotduLac: Mamedyarov's +6 (including wins against Motylev, Kharlov, Bologan, and Volkov) was the best performance of the tournament. |
 |

 | | percyblakeney: Mamedyarov, Najer and Inarkiev had very good results. Not bad by for example Morozevich, Radjabov, Ivanchuk and Gelfand either. Unhappy with their results are probably Kasimdzhanov, +0 -2 =8, Khalifman, 3 losses and 3 draws (in 18 moves or less), and Grischuk, Bareev and Volokitin for losing three games each. Maybe also Ponomariov for "just" getting an even score and losing twice. |

 | | percyblakeney: Results of the highest rated players in the women's competition: Stefanova (2502): +5 -1 =2
T. Kosintseva (2489): +5 -2 =4
Cmilyte (2470): +4 -2 =4
N. Kosintseva (2469): +8 -0 =3
Lahno (2468): +2 -2 =5
The Kosintseva sisters and Lahno didn't play on first board and had slightly weaker opposition than Stefanova and Cmilyte. On first board played also for example: Pähtz (2438): +4 -1 =5
Skripchenko (2423): +1 -3 =5
Ovod (2395): +4 -2 =3
Shadrina (2371): +6 -2 =3 |

 | | Phi: Is there somewhere a list of performances and/or rating changes from this team championship?
(preferable not in russian :) ) |
 |
| May-01-06 | | erasmus: Ivanchuk didn't get exhausted from playing it seems. His longest game is a draw in 40 moves, while 7 out of 10 games were finished in 22 moves or less. |
 |

 | | percyblakeney: <Phi> If there is, I haven't found it... |

May-01-06
 | | sisyphus: The Ural team wins, with Malakhov (+3) and Shirov (+2) posting the best results. |

 | | notyetagm: <Ibelox ...
Top player results :
Aronian +2>
Aronian is so unbelievably consistent. He seems to gain rating points every time he plays. |
 |
| May-02-06 | | cuendillar: <What's with Grandmaster draws? Don't you want your team to win?> You play for a win if you're better. It is most unseemly to take losing chances in a team match, basic strategy is to win where you're better and draw where inferior. Trust me, I've played a few matches. |

May-02-06
 | | percyblakeney: It's very close around tenth place on FIDE's ranking list. Gelfand's five points takes him past Kramnik at the moment, and Adams won his three games in 4NCL this weekend. Radjabov's six points leave him six behind Kramnik. If Kramnik doesn't gain points in the Olympiad he will probably not be in the top ten on the July list. |
 |
May-02-06
 | | percyblakeney: ...forgot about Shirov, who at the time of writing should be around 2730. Kramnik, Adams and Radjabov may temporarily be just outside of the top ten, but it's extremely close, place 5 to 13 isn't separated by much more than 10 points. |
 |
May-03-06
 | | notyetagm: <percyblakeney> Shirov is back to 2730? Gee, I didn't realize that. Last time I checked Shirov was in the 2690s.
|
 |
May-03-06
 | | percyblakeney: If what <MrSunny> writes at Alexey Shirov is correct he is 2730 if he plays no more games before the July list. Right now I think Leko is 5th with 2738 and Radjabov 13th with 2723. |

| May-03-06 | | adewale: Hello. I'm fairly new to the site. How do i get to play thru the individual games?
