In the late endgame, when he had knid of a fortress, but still had to be very careful, he was down to seconds. If you don't go down in such a game, then you'll win the match. Jun-03-07    Prugno: So now Gelfand is one of the very few players who has managed to overcome Kasim in rapid chess... maybe if the Gheddafi clan had allowed Israelis to play in Libya, the 2004 World Cup would have had a different result. The kid just made World #5 Aronian go to blitz tie-breaks(!) to beat him. They were dead even after 6 classical and 4 rapid games.
