I think this demonstration of how he's dispatched Gata should mean we can't overlook Gelfand in this coming tournament. I can def see him playing better than a lot of the other players and finishing with a plus score, but I don't see him winning. Jun-11-07    Per: Gelfand is an extremely stable and knowledgable player, and as <arunjangity:> pointed out, a master with the Black pieces. It can be extremely frustrating to meet such a player, especially in match play, like a tennis player who just keeps returning every shot until the opponent in frustration tries something unsound and loses. It is hardly enough in the Mexico tourney though, but he will be a tough nut to crack. Jun-11-07    shr0pshire: Maybe it is because I personally am not a fan of the Sicilian Rossolimo, but I wish that with the Sicilian being played, Kamsky would have played something sharper. :( This way it didn't seem like he went down swinging. That is my regret.
