Jan-26-08  nescio: No surprise that Chandler wins, although I didn't know he had returned. I _am_ surprised that Van Riemsdijk participated. I thought he was living in Braxil.

Benzol: <nescio> I think that Herman has been to participate in NZ on at least three ocassions. He has a brother who lives in New Plymouth in the lower North Island. I played him in a simul the last time he was here. He struck me as a very friendly personality.

Richard Taylor: Hermann all but won the Australian Champs. He gave us an interesting lecture using Fischer's games as an e.g.

He met Fischer when he was young.
