Mar-26-08  Eurotrash: <KamikazeAttack> It would be more correct to say that Anand handled the opening as a lowly 2500-2600 player ;).
Mar-26-08  karakoyunlu: Topalov Won
Mar-26-08  slomarko: Anand plays like crap
Mar-26-08  chessgangsta: This game has to go down as one of the worst rapid games played by Anand.
Mar-26-08  hovik2003: Vishy is playing fishy!
Mar-26-08  stefan1967: Good game by Topa!
Mar-26-08  KamikazeAttack: <chessgangsta: This game has to go down as one of the worst rapid games played by Anand.>

It was a badly played game, very.

Look at how strong Gelfy's (a 1d4 player) moves were.

Anand is just experimenting anyway. And no beter place to do it than at Amber.

Mar-26-08  mistreaver: <Anand plays like crap> Oh give a man a break plz he is human after all
Mar-26-08  minasina: LIVE GAMES in progress

Mar-26-08  Davolni: I think Anand should retire from chess, and start a Olive farm or something like that in Spain.

chancho: Anand at least won his game against Kramnik in this event and whether that was a statement of some sort or not, who can say, but that is the guy he'll be preparing for, so he's most likely saving his prep for the match this fall.
Mar-26-08  amateur05: Something weird is going on in Kramnik-Aronian.

moronovich: <Davolni> :) Yep , good idea.We could name it "Olive and Laurel" !
Mar-26-08  Davolni: isn't that what that short guy does? i think that's what he does in spain as well. dealing with growing olives.. may be it's more profitable than chess;)

:))
