The online FIDE handbook Section B01.0.54 states: "The date a title is achieved is the date of the last norm or the date of fulfilling the necessary rating, whichever comes later." She had a very good tournament anyway, and towards the end Zhu Chen saved some rating points after that miserable start. It will be interesting to see how Hou will do against players like Adams and Sargissian in her next tournament.
