Aug-04-08  shr0pshire: Look at all of those decisive games. My eyes must be deceiving me.
Aug-04-08  OneArmedScissor: It seems Nakamura did alright.
Aug-05-08  apple pi: Najer and Naiditsch were awesome as well!
Aug-05-08  randzo: great tournament for Nepomniatchi after great result in Dortmund.
Aug-05-08  govtissue: this was a rapid tournament with 20 +5 time control
Aug-05-08  govtissue: and Nakamura finished joint 3rd with 9/11 (+8 -1 =2) after winning the Chess960 tournament with the same score earlier in the week.
Aug-05-08  DeltaHawk: What?!? Another 1990 player wins a major tournament? Coincidence???
Aug-05-08  ILikeFruits: you calling me a liar boy....
Aug-07-08  dumbgai: Judging just by the results and not the names of the players, I'd swear this was some sort of amateur tournament. What GMs play that many decisive games?
Aug-07-08  percyblakeney: Ordix Open winner Nepomniachtchi qualified for next year's so called rapid world championship. I suppose it will be another small tournament and that they have skipped the system with challenger vs champion as in Anand's matches against Shirov, Polgar, Grischuk and Radjabov.
