 | | dx9293: They invite 2600 GMs and they have two 2-a-days? Strange. Something that would happen here in the USA open swisses. |
 |
| Nov-30-08 | | Alphastar: it's a city now? wow. Wolvega only has like 12000 inhabitants. :P |

"Here are all the games from the tournament, and with almost no exception they are highly recommended for replay. <Most of the players admitted that because the tournament was not FIDE rated, they felt they could play more freely, and that it led to more interesting, fighting games>." -- http://www.chessvibes.com/reports/m... Time to replay a few of these games... |

| Dec-07-08 | | Maroczy: We need an eccentric director like Tim Burton to make a film about the GM scene; what do you folks think? |

| Dec-07-08 | | Billy Vaughan: <Most of the players admitted that because the tournament was not FIDE rated, they felt they could play more freely, and that it led to more interesting, fighting games> <Congratulations to Macieja for winning a horse!
