The 2nd Hainan Danzhou GM tournament was played in Danzhou, China, 15-24 May 2011. Time controls: 90 minutes for the first 40 moves, 30 extra minutes for the remaining moves, with a 30-second increment per move from move one. Tournament director: Ye Jiangchuan. Chief arbiter: Xiao Hong. Yu Yangyi won with 7/9.
