JohnBoy: <whiteshark> - I would love to have Lahno in a mating net.
Jan-20-12  Refused: <JohnBoy: <whiteshark> - I would love to have Lahno in a mating net.>

I doubt she would <blunder> that hard (means getting that drunk). Nothing personal ofc.

On a totally unrelated note.
I am kinda disappointed by Potkin's performance. I had him as favorite to win group b after his performances at the European Championship and World Cup.

Jan-22-12  AuN1: is harikrishna really going to be playing in the a group next year?
Jan-22-12  Penguincw: < AuN1: is harikrishna really going to be playing in the a group next year? >

The tradition for winning Group B (or C) is a guarantee invitation for the next group. So, if Harikrishna wins Group B, he will ensure an invitation. Last year, McShane and Navara both won Group B, and both were invited, however McShane did not have enough time. :-\ However, even he doesn't win, he can still have a chance.

Jan-22-12  Penguincw: < "India’s Pentala Harikrishna kept the lead in Grandmaster Group B with a 6.5/8-score after a draw with white against Holland’s Sergei Tiviakov in 63 moves from a Benko opening. He was followed at half a point by Russia’s Alexander Motylev." >

Jan-25-12  Penguincw: < "India’s Pentala Harikrishna kept the lead in this group after downing Italy’s Daniele Vocaturo in 27 moves with white from a Catalan opening. It was Harikrishna’s sixth victory from the ten rounds played so far." >

This leaves Motylev a chance to tie it all up.

Jan-27-12  Penguincw: Reindermann beat Vocaturo with the black pieces. Now, it's a matter of how and when Ernst is going to beat the Indian.
