Strongest Force: Now that I think of it, Fab may not be hungry enough for this tournament. Did he eat like a bear in Iceland? Anyhow, I don't think there will be any long sleeps.
Mar-23-12  stanleys: Great tournament for WIM Irina Bulmaga (2307)with 3/4 so far - wins against GMs Mista and Ruck, against IM Yilmaz as well - they are all 2500+ players!
Mar-23-12  Namawiz: Navara is underperforming so far. Perhaps he is simply out of form.
Mar-23-12  stanleys: Brilliant performance by the young FM from Russia Kiril Allekseenko (2367,born in 1997).

Wins (with black!) against Volkov(2623) and Solak (2602),draws against Buhmann (2614) and L'ami (2611)

PhilFeeley: I love the name of this Greek player: <Xylogiannopoulos Antonios>. He doesn't have a page here yet, being only 2104, but he has two points, more than a few GMs still playing. He's paired against a 2500 player next round.
Mar-23-12  galdur: <stanleys> One to watch certainly.

Kirill Alekseenko

Mar-24-12  Penguincw: A few games still remaining.

Mar-24-12  belgradegambit: The Yugoslav attack is a miserable 1/2-3 1/2 against the Dragon in this tournament!
Mar-24-12  Penguincw: The most interesting battle remaining, Swiercz vs. Potkin (reigning junior championship vs. defending European champion) just finished.
