HeMateMe: Yifan is not the lowest rated player here. She is around 2630. One of the men is only at 2560. Maybe she can pick up a few more rating points.

Certainly Yifan is a serious level better than the other female players, except for Judit Polgar.

waustad: <heHateMe>Anna Muzychuk is creeping into the picture. She just passed Humpy Konery in rating and is getting close to 2600.
Jun-02-12  blade2012: Thank You <chessgames.com>

Interesting games in the 5th round:
Bu Xiangzhi-Ding Liren 1-0
Zhao Jun-Zhou Jianchao 1-0 (very aggressive play)
Zhou Weiqi-Wen Yang (nice game from the lowest Elo player) http://live.chinaqiyuan.com/chess.h...

spawn2: I admire GM Ni's determination to become a part of their Olympiad Team this year: )
Jun-07-12  hellopolgar: Bu won the tournament by winning the final round game and got the last ticket to the Chinese Olympic team. It is worth mentioning that the prize is not very much: winner only gets 80k Chinese Yuan which is $12,571 US with second place 75% of that and third place half of that. The total prize fund for this tournament is only 30% of the $160,000 for the 2012 US Championship...
Jun-08-12  dumbgai: Certainly not Wang Yue's best tournament.
