Kibitzer's Corner
Jul-21-12  achieve: After <12> years of hegemony, complete domination, Peng was forced to surrender the crown, over to Tea Lanchova!!

With one round to spare....

Hooray, and many congratulations!

Jul-21-12  achieve: And the irony is that Lanchava will play Peng in the final round, I think with Black, and with the title secured, she may want to go for a relaxed draw or even try and go for a win if Peng overstretches.

Wild Bill: Congratulations to Tea Lanchava for winning the Dutch national women's championship.

And the heartiest congratulations to Peng Zhaoqin for her historic run of twelve consecutive years holding the title.

Jul-22-12  achieve: <waustad: Peng won the last game.> Typically Peng-y.
Jul-27-12  hellopolgar: Note that both Tea Bosboom-Lanchava and Zhaoqin Peng are immigrants...one from Georgia and one from China, what happened to the local female chess talents?
