The ninth Max Euwe Memorial Chess Tournament was organized by the Verenigde Spaarbank (VSB) in Amsterdam, the Netherlands from May 12th to the 18th, 1995. Following the format of previous editions of the tournament, four of the world's top grandmasters, including the World Champion, were invited to participate in the double round robin event.
