Korchnoi Zurich Chess Challenge (Blitz) (2017)

The Korchnoi Zurich Chess Challenge (2017) starts with an opening ceremony and blitz tournament held in the Hotel Zavoy Baur en Ville on Wednesday 12 April. The 8 players, who include former World Champions Vladimir Kramnik and Viswanathan Anand, will play each other once. The time control is 4 minutes per player for all moves, with a 2-second increment from move 1. The results will be used to determine the pairings in the main event, but will not count for the final standings. (1)
