World Junior Championship (Girls) (2018)

The 36th World Girls Junior Championship was an 11-round Swiss taking place in Gebze, Kocaeli, Turkey from 5-15 September 2018. The winner Aleksandra Maltsevskaya became the World Girls Junior Champion and received the WGM title and 2,000 Euros. The 2nd and 3rd placed players were Tokhirjonova and Khomeriki. The time control was 90 minutes for 40 moves then 30 minutes to the end of the game, with a 30-second increment from move 1. No draw offers were allowed until move 30. (1)
