DOUBLE ATTACKS (FORKS, DISCOVERIES, CLEARANCE) create -additional- control of squares, Na++ and Nd++.

A player actually has -additional- control of squares (that is, more than first meets the eye on the chessboard), Na++ and Nd++, if he has a potential <DOUBLE ATTACK (FORKS, DISCOVERIES, CLEARANCE)>. The "++" comes from the <TEMPO> derived from the particular type of <DOUBLE ATTACK>. For the <FORK>, the "++" comes from the existing <TACTICAL TARGET>. For a <DISCOVERED ATTACK>, the "++" comes from either <TL> or <TM>.
