Why? To figure out that the <CANDIDATE SQUARES> are to be turned into potential **second** <TACTICAL TARGETS>, thereby upgrading the singular <THREAT> which can easily be met into a <TACTICAL TARGET (DOUBLE ATTACK)> which cannot be satisfactorily met.
