Bobby Fischer's <My 60 Memorable Games> is considered by many to one of the greatest chess books ever written. An immediate classic when it was published.

It was the first book about a player's games that I read and played through from cover to cover. I have since replayed them a dozen times.

After Fischer defeated Taimanov in the Candidates Quarter-final Match in 1971, the Russians declared that this book would have to be translated from English into Russian and distributed widely, which they did.
