  1. grounding
The chess games of this chess collection, most with a quiet, balanced middlegame situation, were decided "silently" - not by a conspicuous move, an evident mistake or blunder of the looser's part but by - at first sight - simple move(s), where it is not obvious that they concede so much to the gaining colour - the looser really realises his grounding only in post-mortem analysis, according the tenet: it looks so innocent and harmless, but all of a sudden it can rapidly collapse ;-(

In the case of the game Beliavsky vs. Kasparov, White even thought, he was winning after 21.Re7, but Black was aiming for a back row mate, pinning a Queen sac and a pseudo-pin on it. Black actually anticipated and invited White's Play! Beliavsky sure would have swallowed up any lesser opponent. Kasparov played so accurately and confidentely - the art, science and sport of chess at peak of perfection.

As swiss citizen I'm inspired by the real cases of Swissair (not saved by the government) and UBS (saved by the government with the money and guarantee of the tax payers).
