  1. carlsen end game prowess
in slightly better or slightly unbalanced end games, carlsen seems to have a way with his pieces that makes even his super gm opponents lose their foothold. in one game after the other, we see how he manages to combine tactical motifs with positional play to gradually squeeze the life out his opponents. i'm very impressed!
    14 games, 2004-2008

  2. V times V - carlsen is Victorious
"his games are no gems" some topalov-fan uttered. huh? while taste differs, i think one needs to be wrong-willed if one can't pick five great games to one's taste out of these 5 x 5 examples of carlsen's play.
    25 games, 2004-2008
