There's more to great football teams than 'names'.
And anyway you're discounting South American clubs as well as Spanish (hottest league on the planet IMO) German, Italian ect... I do think the red mancs will turn over Barcelona tho.. |

 | | tpstar: <eightsquare> Good job! 24. Nxe5! wins a Pawn because the Bg7 is Overloaded. Deflection is forcing an opposing piece from covering a specific line. Decoy is baiting an opposing piece to a specific square. |
 |
| May-23-11 | | eightsquare: <tpstar> Would you mind me asking a few more questions? If yes here they are : 1. I lost one game recently in the tournament i played because i made some incorrect opening moves. I was not sure what to do after e4 e5 Nf3 Nc6 Bb5 a6 Ba4 b5 Bb3 Bc5 c3 Qf6, in the game i played d3, but later i saw d4 and if exd4 then Bg5! Is this correct?
2. In the other game that i won ( I was White ) my opponent played e4 g6 d4 Bg7 c3 and c5. In the game i didn't want to take the risk but later when i analysed at least i think that WHite simply wins a pawn with dxc5. COuld you please tell me Black compensation? You are really helping me a lot thanks a ton again! :) |

 | | tpstar: <eightsquare> 1) That Ruy Lopez line is the Archangel Variation with 4 ... b5 instead of 4 ... Nf6. (After 5. Bb3, some would call 5 ... Bc5 the Moeller Variation.) Here 6. c3 Qf6 7. d4!? would be a gambit due to 7 ... exd4 8. Bg5 Qg6 hitting the Pe4. The most common move is 7. 0-0 Nge7 and next you could play 8. d3 with a good game or try 8. d4!? exd4 9. Bg5 Qg6 10. Bxe7 Bxe7 11. cxd4 Opening Explorer with a classic center, as 11 ... Qxe4!? would be very risky. 2) 1. e4 g6 2. d4 Bg7 is the Modern Defense, and 3. c3 c5!? is a gambit trying to get you out of book. On 4. dxc5 Black plays 4 ... Na6 attacking the Pc5, then 5. Be3 Qc7 and White has to play 6. Bxa6 (6. b4? Nxb4!) bxa6 with an unbalanced position. Opening Explorer Instead of playing into Black's hands like that, 4. Nf3 is good, =) |

| May-23-11 | | eightsquare: <tpstar> Thanks you have broadened my chess knowledge ;-)! I'm off now to check those lines! Btw in the actual game I did play Nf3. |

 | | HeMateMe: Its almost getting like that movie "Natural Born Killers", where serial killers are movie stars. The local media here download various escapades of violence, caught on residential or business camcorders, and then advertise that you can see it live on their websites. This morning CBS was advertising that you can see a video of youth trashing a Dunkin Doughnouts franchise in Manhattan's West Village neighborhood. Last week it became known that you could watch a video at a McDonalds of two woman beating up a transgender man in Baltimore. Some people might call this news, but I don't know...It almost seems like a celebration of gratuitous violence, to drive up web traffic. Seems disturbing to me. I'm reminded of that movie than came out about 25 years ago, starring Arnold Schwarznegger and Richard Dawson, about a network television show that featured various tough guys hunting down and killing criminals, a television show. |
