Feb-24-12  AlphaMale: <Maybe those who run Google will notice how often people leave a video as soon as they see a 20 second commercial has been grafted onto it, and leave any videos they sponsor commercial free.>

Yes, I can see that a multibillion dollar operation is likely to follow the business advice of someone who thought Solyndra was a sound investment.

Are you insane?

Feb-24-12  AlphaMale: Just think how much more enjoyable Superbowl coverage would be without those pesky ad breaks. I feel a brainwave coming on...
Feb-24-12  Wayne Proudlove: Looking at the classic film "Ghost"; that scene where the actor Tony Goldwyn intentionally spills wine on his shirt so he has to take it off in front of Demi Moore who's mourning Patrick Swayze, that's just low. To show his bare chest like that just after her husband died with Demi vulnerable, that's low.
Feb-24-12  drnooo: anybody here know much about spontaneous human combustion a theory goes that overloads of phosphorus in your system leads to the big silent bang the phosphorus then consumes you to a pile of ash Dickens used the event in one of his tales and there appears to be plenty of witnesses in the last few centuries so maybe Jack D Ripper was right after all O.P.E and all that.

Feb-24-12  Jim Bartle: "anybody here know much about spontaneous human combustion"

It was especially dangerous to drummers in Spinal Tap.

Feb-24-12  drkodos: Sponataneous Human Combustion (SHC) stories "are simply the rare cases where a natural death in isolation has been followed by a slow combustion from some nearby source of ignition." Other stories of people suddenly aflame should be called "Unsolved deaths by fire"

Feb-25-12  Penguincw: Quote of the Day

< "I do think it plausible to suggest that some people think amphetamines might enhance chess performance over the short term. I think it plausible to suggest that people actually used them in the highest levels of competition. I think it plausible to suggest that it is reasonable to test for them so that nobody does that ever again." >

jessicafischerqueen: Hello- I make chess history documentaries and I'm wondering if there are any independent composers, or if you know any composers, who might be willing to consent to me using some of their work in my films.

I mean people making independent music today- in classical or ambient style that's what I'm looking for. If you are interested, or know anyone who might be interested, please post information in my forum.

Thanks,
JFQ

HeMateMe: Wow! Derrick Rose, Chicago Bulls, signed a shoe contract with Adidas for $200 million! Man, thats a lot of free sneakers. I guess it's all Monopoly money, anyway. You could never spend it all.

Waitaminute...Alan Iverson and Terell Owens DID spend it all! So did Latrell Sprewell, and....maybe $200M isn't enough?
