HeMateMe: Somone Borgota ban TD from 'Vegas, for card counting.
Mar-15-12  Oliveira: <Quote of the Day> In a game with the Queen of England [Morphy] gallantly permitted Her Majesty to win, but with Napoleon III, he was less gallant.

--- New Orleans Times-Democrat, 1884

I don't get it. Wasn't Napoleon III dead in 1873, 11 years before the publication date given here for this news?

Mar-15-12  Wayne Proudlove: "Streetcar Named Desire" was on TV. Brando, of course, is convincing in his intensity. But Karl Malden got the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor. He lives with his mom and is gallant and wholesome courting Blanche and talks about how he exercises his body but he's tentative to kiss her and asks first. But when he confronts her with her prostitute past he gets feeling carnal and man enough to take her but then says "You're not clean enough to take home to ma" and lets her go and she calls him a brute and kicks him out. He sees her as either a virgin or whore.

HeMateMe: <He sees her as either a virgin or whore.> I often have the same feelings about the current FIDE President.

HeMateMe: Obama's NCAA bracket is published. He has the Wildcats, NC, Missouri and Ohio in the final four, same as the seeding.

What about that team that made the finals twice in a row, Baylor? I forget their name. 4 year seniors in the starting lineups. Kids who can't jump and don't have any Biggie Smalls CDs. I guess none of those guys are in the NBA. Still, they have a chemistry degree or computer sci degree to fall back on, not a "communications" degree or P.E. degree like most jocks get.

Glad to hear you “beat” the one armed bandit.
At least it wasn’t “Horrors” or “Thump” Plaza.

Mar-15-12  Jim Bartle: HMM: I think at least one guy from those Butler teams is in the NBA. But you make a good point.

And you're wrong about most top jocks getting degrees in communications or PE. They don't get any degree at all.

Mar-15-12  Rook e2: Let's start some discussion here..

What opening do you play when you would play yourself?

It would be the poisened pawn in the Najdorf for me with 10.e5 and 12. Ne4. I always had difficulties playing black against 1.d4, might be because I play e4 myself and don't get to see the annoying answers against d4 for myself. Although the KID seems fine now I know some of it.

Mar-15-12  voratco: oh my, tpstar try to stir up trouble in the midst of Wesley So and George Meier one on one encounter today. Manners gone out of the window. he was like an apparition that was ignored, like he wasn't even there. Ignored like Susan Polgar ignored his request to go vote for the best games of the year. Ouch, that really hurts, no doctor can fix that.

Mar-15-12  voratco: <Nemesistic: He's not a doctor, he's a sketchy nurse..>

Is she creepy, or seedy, dirty, low-quality, no life or what? Hahahahaha

Watch out, he will go huhuhu to his friends, his ass lickin friends.

Mar-15-12  Nemesistic: Im getting to that point where id love them to come, all together or one after another..
Mar-15-12  voratco: I like them to come all together at once, I like to see sketchy entities fall in line in bunches.

Oh, I really didn't know the meaning of sketchy so I googled it, best definition for me is:

WEIRDO= most fitting, fits like a Cinderella shoe.

Mar-15-12  Nemesistic: Well we usually add the words creepy and disturbed to weird, when decribing someone who's "Sketchy", so id hate to be his patient thats for sure!

Mar-15-12  Nemesistic: Voratco, saying you googled the word "Sketchy" got me to thinking, So for the first time ever i just looked at some of those so called "urban dictionary" sites, and this is one part of the internet that doesn't do anything but confuse people! I guess its a regional and also a class thing, because some definitions of that word are plain laughable *to me*.. But i think you know what i mean, given who we was talking about..:)
Mar-15-12  voratco: Oh yes, understood, that indescribable feeling when you know that unspecial someone is around lurking like a hungry snake and within that split second can and will strike with it's fang and release a deadly venom. This kind of snake will use his flicking tongue to smell and follow the victim until it suffers and dies. It's an eerie feeling, it is so sketchy. LOL

Does the nurse wear a skirt?:D)

Mar-15-12  Nemesistic: Well tipsy sure does! And if not he needs one!

The mans a crank.. ( bit more slang for you to brush up on ;))

  whiteshark: <Quote of the Day>

Age is the great enemy of the chess player. Once the short term memory abandons a chap, he is left to flounder at <the mercy of the young sharks>, who have no wisdom, but much aggression and the mental horsepower to back it up.
