LIFE Master AJ: Some people were definitely being "busy-bodies," the Internet is full of cheats who never play a single tournament.

IF someone is a real player, they have a real name and play real tournament chess. (Like me.)

Of course, the trolls, liberals, (and other assorted scum); will continue to pound away, looking for a chink ... or any other possible reason to mount an attack.

Meanwhle, I don't care. But just one point, keep it off my page and completely of my forum. ---> (and) That's all I have to say ... ... ...

Also - last 10 (or so) tournaments, clear first in eight if them, tied for first at the LA State Champ, and only two tournament losses since like March of 2011. See A J Goldsby for more details.

May-08-12  Jim Bartle: What evidence do you have that Klever was cheating, AJ? The game's posted here.

By the way, this player does have a real name that we know. He played the game under a pseudonym, it's true, but so did you.

We know you've won lots of tournaments recently, and that's great. But if you lose one game playing on the Internet, why does it automatically suspect, and why must your opponent have been cheating.

The "chink" I found was that you accused a player of cheating, he asked you why, and instead of responding, just deleted his entire post, including the game.

HeMateMe: Didn't Man City just beat Man U in a tournament? Is that guy Fergie still the coach?

I think soccer (football) would catch on here, in the states, if the opponents got to punch or tackle each other.

Let's start this little offshoot <"full contact soccer"> and see where it goes. We'll begin our new league, new rules, in the north of the United Kingdom. Places like Edinburgh, Belfast and Birmingham, where unemployed tuffs can put on football shorts and beat the crap out of each other, and get paid to boot. I'd say its a win-win.

LIFE Master AJ: <Bartle> No response is necessary ... anyway, its obvious your mind is made up.

Its just a 3-0 game, and of no real importance to anyone. Uless - of course - you were the opponent in this case ...

May-09-12  Jim Bartle: Yes, it was just a 3-0 game, exactly. Then why did you accuse your opponent of cheating and delete his very respectful post.
May-09-12  voratco: <Jim Bartle: Yes, it was just a 3-0 game, exactly. Then why did you accuse your opponent of cheating and delete his very respectful post.>

Hmmmm, that is a sure sign of a weakness, it is called insecurities. Sometimes we need to tell people our accomplishments to feel good. But I don't think a real chess player will go advertising he won this and that. It is similar to attention deficiency disorder.

Beware, don't click on that link. LOL.

May-09-12  SimonWebbsTiger: ugh! -- Is the Laugh Master being horrible again?

I thought we had moved past all that nonsense when several of us, including AJ and myself, had posting rights suspended for a week by the cg Admins.

Is it going to kick up again?

Note to all: AJ simply cannot accept losing. He will do everything to explain away a loss other than admit the obvious: his opponent actually played better chess. That's his fault; don't get involved.

LIFE Master AJ: <<respecful post>> Now there is a load of manure ...
May-09-12  King Death: <HMM> Yeah, that about sums it up. Gotta flush out the system since the daily flow of bile has been slowed down some.
May-09-12  Jim Bartle: Wait a second, AJ. I saw that post as highly respectful, basically saying "I'm really disappointed that you would accuse me of cheating." He didn't call you any names or insult you in any way.

Of course you <deleted> it, so we can't check, can we? It's just by chance that I was interested enough to play through the game, so I could re-post it on this page.

May-09-12  King Death: <Jim Bartle> Has it really gone on for 8 years, <AJ> bunkered down in his fort built out of jealousy and paranoia? The truth is that he were really that good a player he wouldn't need to trumpet every good result. If I still played I wouldn't waste time publishing most games where I beat down 1900 players.

tpstar: User: DiscoJew named me in his profile so I can jump in without being just another troll liberal scum busybody.

On the plus side, he gave his real identity; a cheater would never do that. He posted a polite recount of the story without personal attacks; a cheater would never do that. He included the gamescore which could be verified by computer analysis; a cheater would never do that. He also offered to establish a real dialogue.

On the minus side, there was a comment like "I thought you had some class" which could have been worded better. Moreover, a 3/0 Internet game is probably not deserving of any complaint or investigation.

He came here looking for an answer, and he got it. Let's wait for the YouTube video. =)

<don't click on that link> Oh how you have great taste in material, yet if you knew your site history, you would realize that it would take over a hundred handles to store my greatest hits.

Try to be less jealous of my status. Thank you kindly.

May-09-12  Petrosianic: <It's just by chance that I was interested enough to play through the game, so I could re-post it on this page.>

I don't believe you care that much about the game, or couldn't just get it direct from the source if you wanted. You still don't get that you guys look almost as bad in this as AJ does. You're still operating under the assumption that if he looks bad you must look good. No. It's not that Black and White.

May-09-12  diceman: <Wayne Proudlove: Guy does great DeNiro impersonation:>

You talkin to me?

May-09-12  Jim Bartle: Petrosianic: A game was posted. The loser in the game claimed the winner had cheated. So I was interested enough to play through the game.

My interest is casual, but maybe someone else is more seriously interested.

I'm not trying to look good. I just think AJ was wrong in deleting the post, and wrong in accusing his opponent of cheating if he can't back it up.
