May-31-12  Wayne Proudlove: "Bonnie and Clyde"
Warren Beatty answers the question where the Barrow gang are going with "We ain't headed to nowhere, we just runnin' from." They're not in it for the money nor the sex; they're genuine criminals but folk heroes, the first celebrities. They started as nobodies, grabbed their chance to make a name for themselves and met the consequences. Originals, one assumes the real nobodies are hapless B&C imitators; meandering, minus the panache, making small gains but ultimately and ironically suffering a fate worse than Bonnie and Clyde's tragic end.

PhilFeeley: Does anyone know where I can find reports on the French Team Championships that have started? I can't find any webpage for it, nor any reports in the usual places.

tpstar: <blazerdoodle> Wikipedia is hit and miss for chess content. The French Defense entry is outstanding, largely because it borrows heavily from John Watson who is a leading expert. It is one place to start, yet often the dry encyclopedia style doesn't lend itself well to teaching.

Two free sites for students:

1) http://exeterchessclub.org.uk/

2) http://www.westmichiganchess.com

Cemoblanca: Hi Ohio! ;0) I'm glad you liked it dude! Well, if so, then it's already HISTORY, because you know, Anand has set a "new record" (Game 8 of the WCh Match), which he won in 17 moves! ;0)

Here it is: Anand vs Gelfand, 2012

Jun-01-12  MarkFinan: <WP> I watched Bonnie and Clyde for the first time last week, and thought It a real classic.. Plus Faye Dunnaway Is really, really "attractive", and she really does steal the show IMO..

And who'd have thought you'd ever see a scene with Warren Beatty, Gene Wilder, Hackman, and Dunnaway all In a car on some mad journey lol.

It's a brilliant film, and kinda turned me on to FD, who even though I'd heard of before, I cannot recall seeing a movie with her In before that.. Although I had seen the chess scene with Redford and her before In 'The Thomas Crown Affair' (I Think??) without even thinking or realising who the actress was!!

Anyway, as far as hot blondes go, when she was aged between 25-35 she doesn't have too much competition for outright sexiness!

Andress, Bardot, and Eckland..

The rest come nowhere near! Man, I just love blondes lol :)

Jun-01-12  GilesFarnaby: This has absolutely no relation with the recent World Chess Championship Match, but which do you think it would be the most boring paring for a super GM encounter nowadays?

Wang-Hao - Moiseenko?

Jakovenko - Malakhov?

Inarkiev - Volokitin?

Anand - Gelfand?

...?

I tried clicking on the English flag and it didn't do anything, so you'll have to try reading it in French. The games are on chessbomb.

<MarkFinan: The rest come nowhere near! Man, I just love blondes lol :)> Joe Namath of N.Y. Jets Superbowl Fame made the comment, "I like my Johhny Walker red and I like my women blonde". lol

Shams: <MarkFinan> Go right now and rent "Chinatown".
Jun-01-12  The Big Lebowski: I've been playing a few blitz games on Playchess and I'm getting a little frustrated. The damn pieces are so sensitive that when I went to 0-0 my King went to f8! lol
Jun-01-12  MarkFinan: <TBL> Steve McQueen, thats the guy!.. For some reason I get him and Redford mixed up, I think It's because my mother liked them both when she was a child, I remember her telling me lol..

<shams> Yeh, someone else on this site recomended 'China town' to me last week too!

I'll definately have a watch now then as my own blonde goddess (I'm not being big headed, but she's totally stunning, ask <JFQ> she's seen pics of her... And she's gotta brain too, unlike me lol ) Is away for a few days, so while the cats away, this mouse will play... with his DVD player haha..

Hey "The Dude", Redford Is just brilliant In that classic "The Sting" with Newman.. Iv'e loved that movie since before I probably got Into Star Wars! And that's my Dads Inluence there.. Beautiful actresses both Dunnaway and Andress though.. And yeh, I guess "Joe Namath" Is right <TBL>? So many beatiful women out there making movies (BTW fav ginger... Gillian Anderson IMO ;)), Natalie Portman, Angelina Jolie, so so so many dark haired beauties, but give me a blonde anyday!!

Jun-01-12  The Big Lebowski: Mark here's blondes to check out. :>)

HeMateMe: Pam Anderson is starting to fall apart. She is starting to look like my high school librarian, on steroids. Best take her off the Blondes List.
Jun-01-12  MarkFinan: Cool link "The dude" ;)..

And whats Jenny McCarthy up to nowadays, I know she's not really an actress, but i still like her rhetoric lol..

God bless all blonde's ha !
