Bobby Fiske: <HeMateMe: <Travis Bickle> You were dancing with a guy, and a girl came up and said "Let me teach you three steps, mister"?> Well, it could have been worse. She could have told him "Oh, That Smell."

HeMateMe: Did the London organizers ever find out why Keith Moon refused to participate in the closing ceremonies? Always on top of things, at least they got Sir Paul McCartney to work in the opening ceremony.

I would have preferred they had the Queen Mum parachute into the stadium with Paul, Ringo and Dani Harrison (instead of Bond Daniel Craig) to make an Olympic Fab Four, but that's just another route that could have been taken.

OBIT: <HeMateMe>I'd imagine Keith Moon being dead would be the main reason he isn't in the closing ceremonies. Did the London organizers really try to contact him?

<HeMateMe> If you're talking about the Keith Moon I'm thinking of (from The Who) then his participation would have to be posthumous.

:)

HeMateMe: Keith was really the Walrus, not John. I discovered this by playing the LIVE AT Leeds album backwards.

<only 3 steps this way> to get out of the gin joint? <Travis> stay with the cabs as you don't have a future as dance instructor.

HeMateMe: What about that giant baby at the London opening ceremony, surrounded by doctors and nurses? It was there to celebrate England's National Health, begun in 1948. Is this a sublte reminder to the USA, going through its own vigorous healthcare debate?
