Aug-26-12  savagerules: I always admired Armstrong for not cashing in on his celebrity and doing commercials, etc.. He taught aeronautics at a university in Ohio and lived for decades in a somewhat reclusive manner.
Aug-26-12  edbermac: < Wayne Proudlove: Imsgine the chicks waiting for Neil Armstrong when he got back from the moon. Whoa.>

Could have been the same chicks who went to the moon on Apollo 12.

The more tang I drank, the better I could moonwalk.

HeMateMe: Has anyone bought or rented a recent copy of the Rolling Stones <Some Girls> CD? There is now a second, bonus cd of new material included.

Probably it is stuff from the same recording sessions, not quite as good as what they put on the album, but some of the songs are good.

Aug-26-12  Wayne Proudlove: Has anyone followed episodes of "The Choir"? I really liked this reality show from England that followed a man, Gareth Malone, who's choirmaster at a school in Middlesex. He worked with troubled youth, communities, athletes, and military wives at different times to form a choir and show the power of music.
