technical draw: <technical draw: This is a rare event. I lose the exchange before any pawns or pieces are taken. I don't think I've ever seen this:>

<Diceman: You didnt say which color you were playing?>

How about the color that loses the exchange?

  technical draw: <americans didn't invent everything>

Of course not. American necessity and his mother invented everything.

Sep-26-12  Zugzwang247: Thanks, diceman! :-)

Got it!

Sep-26-12  diceman: <technical draw: This is a rare event. I lose the exchange before any pawns or pieces are taken. I don't think I've ever seen this:>

I think you are forgetting early games.
Typically beginners play h4 or a4, bring a rook to h3, or a3 and lose it to one of the bishops.

Sep-26-12  diceman: <TheFocus: Hamburger Helper, Tuna Helper and Rice-a-Roni are 3 great food contributions from America. We have changed the culinary world for the better.>

Why are chicken fingers called “chicken fingers” when chickens don’t have fingers?

<Hamburger Helper, Tuna Helper and Rice-a-Roni>

Don’t forget “Shake N Bake.”

TheFocus: <diceman> I'm still wondering what "chicken nuggets" really are.

I mean, I have heard of mining for gold nuggets, but where do you mine for a chicken nugget? In it's butt?

TheFocus: Sad to hear about Andy Williams. I grew up watching his specials and TV shows. Enjoy <Moon River>.

HeMateMe: andy Williams helped get the Osmond Brothers started. When Donny was something like five years old, he was already singing on the show, where his performing brothers were regulars.
Sep-26-12  Wayne Proudlove: Call 1975, it wants its "any public response to the Beach Boys splitting up" back.

HeMateMe: I'd say its time the Beach Boys called it a day. I'm happy they have a new album out and a tour, and maybe that's enough.

Mike Love has always been a loud mouth and a troublemaker. when the Beach Boys were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame he got up there and started bad mouthing other groups who had been inducted in earlier years (before the BB). What a fool.

HeMateMe: If anyone was a fan of the Seattle band Heart, mostly a 70s, and part of the 80s sucess, they have a book out, their story, titled <"Kicking and Dreaming">. I always liked their music. Not the power ballads, but the first two albums.
