HeMateMe: <Google says its AlphaGo Zero artificial intelligence program has triumphed at chess against world-leading specialist software within hours of teaching itself the game from scratch.

The firm's DeepMind division says that it played 100 games against Stockfish 8, and won or drew all of them.>

<AlphaZero won 25 games in which it played with white pieces, giving it the first move, and a further three in which it played with black pieces.

The two programs drew the remaining 72 games.>

<DeepMind has previously defeated several of the world's top human players of the Chinese board game Go, as well as teaching itself how to play video games including Pong and Space Invaders.

The London-based team is currently trying to develop a system that can beat humans at the space strategy game Starcraft, which is seen as being an even more complex challenge.>

How do you play Pong without arms?

Richard Taylor: <Dr Winston OBoogie: <Richard Taylor: Has Trump been trumped - yet?> My prediction is next July at the latest. Let's see those geniuses on the Rogoff page's reactions when he's basically carted off to the nuthouse or thrown in jail for being, well.. Dumb.

<The tragedy of Trump is that he has spoiled the Great American (comic / satiric or perhaps tragic as it shows the beginning of WWIII) Novel.>

The so called tragedy of Trump to me is that he's exposed Americans as dim witted, gullible, easily misled simpletons who'd rather have a nuclear stand off with North Korea than vote for someone on "the other side". I don't care if Hitler was the opponent and Trump was my father, I'm plumping for the one with a brain... Which Donald Trump doesn't have.

I'll never forgive America for electing him and I'll never look at America as our "cousins" again. You've lost all sense of morality when you stand next to a demented simpleton with some kind of brain disease just because you hate the opposition.>

He certainly is a worry. But is he actually that much worse than Bush for example or Nixon? Others? Thatcher? Even Kennedy, just before he was assassinated gave these rather dubious speeches maintaining that the US had saved South America from Commmunism. His liberality was limited (this is not to say his death and the whole thing was not a tragedy...and you have to include the policeman killed (allegedly) by Oswald, Ruby's brutal and stupid (I can understand the reasons, DeLillo gives a reasonable picture of one way of seeing all this) murder of Oswald and some of the complex politics associated.

With Korea it is problematic. The little fat man over there, if we can believe the news, is threatening to use nuclear weapons. Now I understand that Korea, not North or South Korea, Korea was invaded and indeed the Russians also occupied the North (and the Japanese had also invaded Manchuria and around there) and that Pyongyang was fired bombed and completely destroyed with the loss of thousands of civilian lives and much else...But now (they are technically still at war with the US I think); so now they have created the monster, what to do.

It certainly needs someone more diplomatic and controlled I think. I don't hate Trump. I feel he is problematic and indeed his supporters are in many cases quite right wing. But I can understand how such people become as they are. Some are the disaffected white working class in the 'rust belts' and so on. His replacement might be 'more right wing' but perhaps more rational or formal. More boring perhaps (he's certainly memorable as Kennedy was for different reasons), but possibly better (the 'replacement' if there is one).

Right I'm off to stare at chicks asses until 2am where I'll no doubt pass out drunk afterwards. Life is good. Life is fair. If you live in a 3rd world country, have no siblings, shag goats and "milk" cattle whilst awaiting jail rape that probably sounds unfair but it's fine and dandy to me, lool.

Goodnight. Charlie. Romeo. Echo. Echo. Papa. Yankee #CREEP 😂
