Honza Cervenka: 80...Kh6 looks like a blunder, but after 80...Rh1 white can play 81.Rg7+ Kh6 (81...Kh8 82.Ng6#) 82.Rg6+ Kh7 83.Nd5 with a threat 84.Nf6+ and 85.Rg8#. In final position white threatens with 82.Rg6# and "stalemate" defense 82...Rg1 doesn't work here because of black Pawn on a3.
Aug-08-10  mjk: According to the Nalimov Tablebases, 79...a3? loses, 79...Rb1/c1/d1 draws.
