PizzatheHut: Interesting game here, very fun to watch. Here are some of my quick thoughts without digging too deeply into the game or having access to an analysis engine.

1) Burn's <5. e4> is a pretty bold move. I don't know if I would want to open the position against Tarrasch.

2) I'm not a big fan of <9. f3?>. Not only does that prematurely open the center but Burn seems to have overlooked the resulting combination. It appears that he didn't see the pin on his queen on the e-file.

3) I was quite surprised at the way this game developed. What I thought would be a wild attacking game quickly turned into a pawn-up endgame for black. Entertaining game.

What do y'all think?

An Englishman: Good Evening: Burn was not the sacrificial sort, and mishandled a gambit that might not be very good in the first place. 5.e4?! is the Marshall Gambit, his attempt at a Reversed Albin Countergambit. 8.Nh3? already throws away whatever compensation White has in this line. 8.Bb5+! forces Black to give up castling (anything else loses the Bd6) and represents White's best chance for compensation. Note that Black feared Bb5+ so much he spent a tempo on 8...a6.
