Oct-19-08  timhortons: yelena dembo name is bigger than her rating
Oct-19-08  Everyone: Say what?
Oct-19-08  timhortons: sorry its a patzer kibitzing here, i dont have rybka so i cant analyze the game, nice double account dude, put some mushtache on it so it well look like the real you:)
Oct-19-08  benjinathan: <timhortons> yes it is true that when she was 16 years old when she played this game her rating was 2180. It is now over 2400 and has been near 2500. She is actually a heck of a good imaginative player.

Perhaps you need a doughnut to gather some perspective.

Oct-19-08  timhortons: <benjinathan>thanks for very enlightening post.

be more civil when you reply to my post next time.

eat youre donut i dont need it.

Oct-19-08  benjinathan: <timhortons> I was simplde responding in the same tone that you used in discussing Ms. Dembo.

BTW, I think that in the past you have been critical of GMs for not conversing with the common fans (but I may be mistaken). You may be happy to know that Ms Dembo is a semi regular poster on her page.

Oct-19-08  Everyone: <timhortons> Uno wat I was tinking? U reeferin to <ELO04> ... nevamind
Oct-19-08  timhortons: <benjinathan> you can put me now in youre ignore list if you want.

i dont need you to insult me here.

i am not as good as you in chess but we are paying the same dues here.

if you said right away shes 16 when these game was played that could have settled the issue right away. yelena dembo could have said that if she see it.

eric schilller once corrected me in a very respectfull manner.

Oct-19-08  benjinathan: <timhortons> not trying to pick a fight at all. Nor trying to insult you. BTW, I am sure you are a better chess player than me.

I took offence because you made fun of a player who you must know nothing about, and who is one of the few strong players who contributes to CG. I just ask that you invetigate before you make a joke.

No hard feelings on my part.

Oct-19-08  timhortons: ok lets forget things here.

Oct-19-08  timhortons: I replayed it.
I just happen lately to go over the kings gambit, i know its not played very well among top player and maybe even yelena is not using it anymore in 2500 level games.
Oct-19-08  timhortons: *not played often
Mar-14-13  blazerdoodle: You're now on my ignore list, lol. Put me on yours for style.

perfidious: <blazerdoodle> Not to waste a spot in your iggy-land, but <tim> got ignominiously run off a while ago.

Black's sixth is an odd-looking move; 6....d6 7.d4 transposes to the main line. Opening Explorer

Black could not be accused of giving up the ghost prematurely in this one.
