An Englishman: Good Evening, and Good Heavens: Alekhine looked like me on my bad days. Do you think hw was playing a simultaneous blindfold game? And who the heck was Kukovec?

crawfb5: According to Donaldson, Minev, and Seirawan's book on Alekine's simultaneous tours in Europe and Asia, this was one game in a 29-board simul given on 13 Dec 1930, in which Alekhine scored +23 -4 =2.
Sep-29-12  The Last Straw: Alekhine's got to be drunk again.
Sep-29-12  The Last Straw: Again, why something like 40.Nc5???

Calli: <Straw> The position is already lost. White's knight and rook are attacked and he will lose material whatever he plays.
