May-02-04  PinkPanther: That's a double blunder. Adams made the first one by pushing the pawn to a4 and Van Wely made the second one by missing the mate by taking the pawn.
May-05-04  ajile: It's gotta be a mis-print. I don't think super grandmasters miss this stuff.

40. exf8=Q+ Qxf8 drew

40....Kxf8 wins but only if after 41.Qc8+ Ke7! because 41...Kf7 draws by perpetual and if Black tries to avoid it they get mated with the King being chased across the board so the White King plays a part.
