Kibitzer's Corner
Jul-09-04  admiralnemo: Here's a lively Caro-Kann. Maybe Adams will trot out something similar against Kasimdzhanov tomorrow?
Jul-09-04  PinkPanther: I doubt it, Adams hasn't played the Caro-Kann in years. But it's actually quite ironic, I was looking over this game (for the first time) just the other day in one of Adams' game collection books.
Jul-09-04  admiralnemo: <PinkPanther> Yes, I just noticed that myself looking through his games in this database. It's been since 1997, and he had mixed results. I've been looking over the Caro-Kann today though, and 4.Qb6 looks like it leads to some very lively play and I haven't come across a game yet that seems to refute it's validity.
