Kibitzer's Corner
Nov-01-03  patzer2: I wonder why Michael Adams did not claim a draw by threefold repetition of moves after black's 48...Qc5, repeating the position after black' s 44th and 46th moves ? Instead, he pushes on and loses with the very bad 49. Qe1?? This kind of oversight from a super GM is so incredible that it's almost surreal.
Jan-11-07  The Chess Express: Was he a super GM in 1992?

TCE

Jan-11-07  Towershield: 58.Kh1 Qf3+ 59.Bg2(59.Kg1 Qg3+ 60.Bg2 Bd4+ 61.Kf1 Qf2#) Qh5+ 61.Kg1 Bd4+ 62.Kf1 Qd1#.
May-04-07  The Chess Express: <Towershield> Nice analysis.
Aug-01-07  aazqua: Adams was absolutely insane to avoid the draw by repetition. It makes no sense at all. He was down a pawn with opposite colored bishops - possible draw but absolutely no hope for a win. Unreal.
Aug-02-07  The Chess Express: Actually, after 48. Qc5 the game was a draw by threefold repetition.
