chancho: Sax's desire to gain some material by 30.Nxg7, loses a piece and the game. Had he played 30.Rxe5 instead, 30...f6 wins the Knight for Anand. 30.Ng3 Bf2 is also bad for white, and 30.Rf1 protecting the Knight, may seem best, but as Sax's down in material, it's not much of a move either.

Fusilli: According to the December 2007 issue of Chess Life (main article is on Anand new world champion) Anand used only 30 minutes for this whole game. He was 16 at the time.
