Mar-12-05   GMAstle: Re3 here on the last move is wierd, maybe Anand wanted to let the guy have some dignity, because he could have mated him with Qf2, but i think he let him resign.
Apr-18-06   silvio: Even after only 50 moves even a top grandmaster may overlook the mate on f2. I dont believe that it has anything to do with granting dignity (?). Re3 was simply programmed in the technic that would be right in a different setting.
