Kibitzer's Corner
Jan-16-05  WorldChampeen: Petrosian holds his own with the up and coming elite; he has at least the better of this game and maybe could have won.

On move 32. Bxh6; a sac. The problem is Petrosian has a lot of pawns left after this but nothing else to support him.

If 38. Qxf7+ would have gotten the 3rd pawn back in exchange for that Bishop given up; whether at this point, Petrosian exchanged Queens or tried to make it with the Queen; it would seem to favor White.

Jan-16-05  chesscookie: Anand was nowhere as good as he is today back then which was 1987.
Jan-16-05  aw1988: White actually appears to lose after 38. Qxf7+ Ne7.
