Kibitzer's Corner
Jan-17-03  Ashley: Anand defeated Karpov at Wijk aan Zee. He has done well against the former world champion, however Anand never really played against Karpov in his best years.

drukenknight: what about 37 Nxf5 Bxf5 38 Qd5+ Bd6 39 Qxh5? the time control might give black only a few minutes to think about it.

pawntificator: After Nxf5 Bxf5 Qd5+ black could play Kg6 and hang on to the piece and the pawn.
Dec-22-10  thathwamasi: I guess this is the game that Maurice referred to, where Anand went to Chinese after winning it using very less time.

Shams: White has to kill himself immediately after Black's elegant <45...Bd1!>

...but is it "true" zugzwang? Or does <46. Pass c4> win for black?
