Kibitzer's Corner
Dec-02-06  M.D. Wilson: Good game, but why not 34.e6+ for Anand?
Dec-02-06  thegreatzidane: After 34. e6, black would have reply 34...Nd6, and the game is pretty much about equal only. In fact, 34. g5 is also a mistake. The only moves that gives white the advantage is 34. Bf3, preparing for the exchange sacrifice Rxb6 and then Bxd5 and slowly clearing up black's light square pawns.
