Nov-07-08  acirce: This was the final round of the PCA qualifying tournament (to the Candidates Matches). Kramnik knew that a draw was enough, but he could not risk a loss. Critizing him for making a draw in that situation seems a little ... bizarre; the whole point of participating was to qualify, not to play for a win in every game.

Nov-07-08  percyblakeney: This is a reliable line to show peaceful intentions, of the 162 games in the database after 10. ... Qxd6 one is incorrectly given as 0-1, one is a fake game (L S Hwang vs H Kim, 2005) and all the others are drawn, with one single exception:
