Kibitzer's Corner
Sep-17-07  dumbgai: Wow, what a fierce tactical battle (sarcasm)!
Aug-26-08  Mostolesdude: I want my money back!!!
Aug-27-08  Rishik: Both A and K saw deeper here..
Nov-06-08  holygrail: what a boring game. *yawn*
Nov-07-08  hrvyklly: I have to admit I always defended Kramnik against childish accusations of 'Drawnik', but now...

acirce: This was the final round of the PCA qualifying tournament (to the Candidates Matches). Kramnik knew that a draw was enough, but he could not risk a loss. Critizing him for making a draw in that situation seems a little ... bizarre; the whole point of participating was to qualify, not to play for a win in every game.
Nov-07-08  hrvyklly: <acirce> Granted. I assumed as much, but was too lazy to look it up.
Nov-07-08  percyblakeney: This is a reliable line to show peaceful intentions, of the 162 games in the database after 10. ... Qxd6 one is incorrectly given as 0-1, one is a fake game (L S Hwang vs H Kim, 2005) and all the others are drawn, with one single exception:

E Macskasy vs R Fuchs, 1964

Apr-05-09  WhiteRook48: these are atheists
