Kibitzer's Corner
Apr-13-05  dragon40: The 16th game of the 1995 WC Match.

A little fun from Anand in this game, using the Najdorf against Kasparov himself. Kasparov decided to take it quietly with his 6th move 6.Be2; they both followed the 5th and 7th match games with the exception that Kasparov was with the black pieces in those afore-mentioned games. Kasparov played the first new move 16. Bd4, but it was not anything very interesting or exciting. Everyone seemed to be very, very disappointed that the player's agreed to a Draw, with so many pieces on the board and both sides having nothing to lose, so to speak. The score of the Match after this game: Kasparov: 9.5, Anand: 6.5
